Welcome to the Newport Carers' Forum website
Newport Carers' Forum has been set up to help carers get a better deal in Newport by representing their views at a local and national level.
Carers are people who look after a relative, friend or neighbour who needs help due to disability, age or sickness. These carers are unpaid and in many cases live with the cared-for. Caring can be both physically and emotionally stressful.
Newport Carers' Forum provides carers with opportunities to meet and share knowledge, expertise and coping strategies and to develop informal networks. It also brings carers together socially.

Many carers are unable to come to meetings because of their caring commitments. The aim of this website is to reach as many carers as possible to make sure they have all the information they need in order to continue in their caring role as well as providing the opportunity to communicate with other carers online.
Any feedback on this website will be most welcome and can be sent to us via our Contact page or in the forum..
